Profile

Pea “Dunn” is one of the most loved microgreens thanks to its clean young-pea flavor. It is tender, juicy, and especially valued for its long, crisp stems, which can reach 15 to 16 cm.

It feels fresh, natural, and visually expressive — ideal for both modern kitchens and fine dining.

🪴 Growing Method

  1. Soak the seeds
Soak the seeds in water for 8 to 12 hours to speed up germination.
  2. Sow
Spread them evenly over substrate or a coconut grow mat. The seeds can be fairly dense — peas handle it well.
  3. Watering
Water gently and keep them moist, ideally with bottom watering.
  4. Dark phase
Keep them in the dark for the first 2 to 3 days. You can cover or lightly weight them.
  5. Light
Once they begin to sprout, move them into the light. They grow quickly and form long, crisp shoots.
  6. Harvest
Harvest in about 7 to 10 days, once they reach roughly 10 to 15 cm.
